Jukebox Wallbox (framed) by Damien Lewis

Features

ARTIST NOTES: Do you remember sliding into a booth of a favourite diner? We would select a song from that shiny little box next to the wall, and then drop a nickel into the slot. After just a few moments, our song would start playing loudly from the jukebox in the corner, and the diner would come alive with music!

ARTIST BIO

I am a photographer and author with a passion for history, old buildings, vintage objects, and travel.

Driven by an appreciation for storytelling, I strive to create fine art photography that doesn’t just decorate a space, but truly connects with people; pieces that ignite conversation, stir emotion, and evoke a sense of nostalgia. Photography allows me to express what I love and transform those passions into something tangible and meaningful; something that can be shared. After all, much of life’s joy comes from sharing what moves us, with others.

My journey into photography began quite unexpectedly around 20 years ago, when I started taking photos of friends performing in a band. That moment sparked something enduring. Inspired, I went on to study photography and joined a local photographic society, where my work quickly gained recognition, and I’ve been fortunate to receive awards up to national level. Today, I regularly exhibit at FlackPTO Gallery and at a few selected art shows across Victoria, where my work has also been recognised with multiple awards.

All my work is meticulously printed using archival inks on premium gallery-grade cotton rag paper, ensuring each piece is vibrant and rich in detail, with the durability to last a lifetime.

You can also find more information about myself and my work on my website: Nostalgique.com.au. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I am always happy to help!
