Jukebox Wallbox (framed) by Damien Lewis

Features

ARTIST NOTES: Do you remember sliding into a booth of a favourite diner? We would select a song from that shiny little box next to the wall, and then drop a nickel into the slot. After just a few moments, our song would start playing loudly from the jukebox in the corner, and the diner would come alive with music!

ARTIST BIO

I am a photographer and author, passionate about history, old buildings, vintage objects, and travel. Quite by accident I stumbled into photography about 20 years ago. I became captivated after taking snaps of mates in a band playing a gig. Afterwards enrolling in a photography course and then joining a local photographic society, I went on to win awards up to the national level. Now I also exhibit at FlackPTO Gallery and selected art shows, in which I have won a number of awards.

My aim is to create beautiful, engaging, fine art photographs that inspire conversation, and enrich any space with nostalgia and warmth. Creating these images allows me to express my passions, and bring them to life in a meaningful way, and share them with others. For where is the joy in life if we cannot share the things that interest us.

All my work is meticulously printed using archival quality inks on premium gallery-grade cotton rag paper, ensuring each piece is vibrant and rich in detail, with the durability to last a lifetime.

You can find more information about myself and my work on my website: Nostalgique.com.au. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I am always happy to help!
